my boss makes decisions so fast it gives me whiplash. she'll bring something up in a meeting and want it decided by end of day, meanwhile im over here needing to sit with things and feel out how everyone's affected first
for a while I took it personally like she didnt care about the team's feelings. but honestly I think its just aries pace vs cancer pace
anyone else navigate this? did it get easier or do you just learn to work around it
yes!! my aries manager is the same. I used to prep a whole emotional case before bringing up concerns and she'd just be like "ok so what do we do" lol. had to learn to lead with the solution first
wait does this get better over time or does she just stay fast forever lol asking for myself
honestly the fast pace pushed me to trust my gut instead of overthinking every decision. still cancer at heart but way less paralyzed by small choices now
update: brought up the pacing thing directly with her instead of just absorbing it quietly and she actually appreciated knowing. we found a middle ground where she gives me a heads up before big asks now
turns out she wasnt trying to steamroll me, aries just doesnt always realize not everyone processes at their speed. glad I said something instead of just stewing on it
