so i got paired on a project with an aquarius coworker and as a taurus i am STRUGGLING
i like a clear plan, a steady pace, doing things the way that already works. she wants to reinvent the whole process every single meeting and floats ideas that sound cool but have zero practical steps attached
ive been quietly rewriting her flowcharts back into something that actually works lol. anyone else worked with an aquarius when youre a taurus? does it get easier
This pairing makes total sense chart-wise. Taurus and Aquarius are both fixed signs, so you're both stubborn in your own lane, just pointed in different directions.
Taurus fixed earth wants proof something works before changing it. Aquarius fixed air is wired to question the process itself, even a good one, just to see if there's a better version out there.
Something that tends to help: ask her to explain the reasoning behind an idea before you evaluate it. Aquarius usually has a real point buried under the 'out there' delivery, it just needs translating into steps. You bring the steps, she brings the spark.
the flowchart rewrite thing had me laughing, so real lol
omg same energy with my aquarius coworker. what worked for us was letting one meeting be a total brainstorm dump with no judgment, then locking in the actual plan the next day. so much less friction
update: tried asking her to explain the reasoning behind her ideas before shooting them down and it actually helped a lot. turns out half the 'out there' ideas had a real point buried in there, just needed to slow down and translate it. still a taurus at heart tho, we compromised on locking the plan by the second meeting lol
