so my new manager is a virgo and I'm a leo and its been a month of me feeling like everything I do gets picked apart
nothing dramatic, she's not mean about it. its just very "here's the 4 things you could improve" energy after every single project, even the ones that go well??
I want a "great job!!" and a high five sometimes yknow. instead I get a bulleted list lol
anyone else work under a virgo when youre a leo? does the feedback thing ever stop feeling personal
This is such a classic Virgo/Leo dynamic in a work setting. Virgo's default language is refinement - they show they care about your work by wanting to make it better, not by celebrating it as finished. It's rarely personal, it's just how the sign processes quality.
What might help: ask her directly what's working well, not just what to fix. Virgos often assume the good parts are obvious and don't need saying, but most will happily tell you if you ask.
omg the bulleted list thing made me laugh bc thats so real. my virgo coworker does this too and I used to take it so personally
asking what's working is such a good idea, gonna try that with my own virgo manager honestly
