so my boss is a virgo and I'm a leo and it has been. a journey lol
she's all about the details, double checking everything, very by the book. meanwhile im like "can we just DO the thing already" energy 24/7
ive learned to appreciate that she catches stuff id definitely miss but also sometimes i just want to wing it and she wants a 10 step plan first
anyone else navigate this dynamic? curious how you made it work
leo here too and yes!! my virgo coworker drives me up the wall sometimes with the double checking but honestly our projects turn out so much better because of it
This pairing actually works well once you both understand the underlying dynamic. Leo brings the vision and momentum, Virgo brings the refinement and risk management - very complementary energies when there's mutual respect.
The friction usually isn't about competence, it's about pace. Virgo needs to feel like the details are handled before moving, Leo needs to feel like momentum isn't being lost. If you can find a rhythm where you outline the big picture and let her fill in the process, it tends to click.
following this because i have a virgo coworker (not my boss) and literally same experience lol. she catches every typo in my emails and i pretend to be annoyed but im secretly grateful
MarcusAstro that actually makes so much sense - i started doing the big picture first then letting her handle details and it's helped a lot. still learning to slow down sometimes lol but we're getting there
