ok so my new manager is a virgo and i am very much a leo and it is... a dynamic
she reviews literally everything before it goes out, wants status updates on things that are already done, and i swear she rewrites my emails in her head before i even send them
i want to do good work! i just also want a little credit and trust without someone hovering over every detail
any other leos worked for a virgo boss? does it get better once they trust you or is this just how it is forever lol
virgo here who has managed a few leos loosely lol. ngl the hovering is usually about anxiety not distrust in your work specifically. if you can find where she needs reassurance and give it proactively, she tends to back off a lot
ugh i feel this so hard. my leo pride does NOT enjoy having every draft edited before it goes out lol. following for tips
update: tried sending a quick daily bullet list before she even asked for one and it's already less intense. felt like i was managing her expectations instead of her managing my work
