my new coworker is a virgo and I am very much a sagittarius and it's becoming clear how differently we operate lol
they want everything documented, double checked, scheduled to the minute. I just want to wing it and figure it out as we go. somehow we're getting stuff done but it feels like we're speaking different languages sometimes
anyone else navigate this pairing at work? does it get easier or is it just always going to be a little bit of friction
haha yes!! my virgo manager color codes literally everything and I show up with vibes and good intentions. somehow it balances out though, she catches the stuff I'd miss and I loosen her up a little
This pairing works better than people expect once you find the rhythm. Virgo (earth, ruled by Mercury) needs order and precision to feel secure, while Sagittarius (fire, ruled by Jupiter) needs room to explore and improvise. Neither approach is wrong - they're just solving for different things.
The friction usually eases once each side learns to hand off the parts of a project that play to their strengths: let Virgo own the details and QA, let Sagittarius own the big-picture direction and momentum.
following this bc my sister and I are this exact combo and we drive each other up the wall sometimes lol but also get so much done together
