so I got put on a project with a coworker who's a virgo (I'm a leo) and it has been an experience lol
i come in with the big vision, get everyone hyped, want to just start building. she wants a spreadsheet of every step before we touch anything. we've butted heads more than once
but weirdly the work we've done together is actually really solid?? like better than when I just do things my way
anyone else leo + virgo at work? does it get easier
This pairing is actually one of the more productive ones once you stop seeing the friction as a problem.
Leo brings the vision and the energy to sell it - that's fire sign confidence. Virgo brings the structure to make sure the vision actually survives contact with reality - that's earth sign precision. Left alone, Leo can overpromise and Virgo can overthink. Together, you cover each other's blind spots.
The trick is division of labor: let Leo pitch and open doors, let Virgo build the process behind it. Neither of you has to become the other - you just have to trust that the other half is handling what you're not good at.
omg yes leo + virgo at work is so real. my manager is virgo and I swear she catches every single detail I gloss over lol. annoying in the moment but has saved me more than once
marcus that framing actually helps a lot, i think i've been trying to get her excited the way i get excited which just isnt her thing. gonna try leaning into the 'i pitch, she builds' split and see how it goes
