got paired on a project with a pisces coworker recently and it's been. a lot lol
i show up with a spreadsheet, a timeline, next steps already mapped out. they show up with a vibe and a vague sense of where we're headed and somehow it still works out?? but the process of getting there makes me want to pull my hair out
like i'll ask a direct question and get a very poetic, roundabout answer that eventually loops back to the actual point. and when i try to nail down specifics too early they seem to just kind of... deflate
is this a known virgo/pisces thing or did i just get unlucky with this particular pairing. curious if anyone's made this combo work well
omg yes this is so real. i'm the pisces in this dynamic at my job and i promise the vague vibe thing isn't us being lazy, we're usually still processing out loud. give it a beat and the specifics usually show up
virgo here too and honestly what helped me was asking for the vision first and the details second instead of the other way around. once i stopped leading with the spreadsheet it got so much smoother
ok the "vision first, details second" thing is such a good reframe. going to try flipping the order next time instead of jumping straight to the timeline
had a pisces boss for two years and can confirm it clicks eventually. once i learned to translate the vibe into a checklist myself instead of waiting for them to hand me one, it stopped being frustrating and started being kind of a nice balance actually
