started a new job a few months back and my manager is a virgo. I'm a leo and I genuinely thought this would be fine bc I get along with most people
but she picks apart EVERYTHING. like I'll turn in something I'm proud of and she'll come back with 12 tiny edits before saying anything positive. it's making me second guess stuff I used to feel confident about
I know she's not trying to be mean, I think it's just how she operates. but as a leo I need at least a little "hey good job" before the notes yk?
anyone else leo working for/with a virgo who figured out how to not take it personally
leo working with a virgo coworker here, not a boss but same energy. once I realized the nitpicking WAS her way of caring about the work (and me by extension) it stopped stinging so much
following this bc my virgo manager does the exact same thing lol. the 12 edits before one compliment is so real
virgo here! honestly if she's giving you detailed notes it usually means she thinks the work is worth the effort. the ones she doesn't bother correcting are the ones she's given up on. might be worth just asking her straight up what she actually thinks of your work overall, outside the edits
