so my boss is a scorpio and i'm a libra and it's honestly such a weird dynamic
like she's intense, says exactly what she means, no fluff, and reads the room in like two seconds. and i'm over here trying to keep everyone happy and smooth things over and i think she finds it kind of exhausting?
last week she straight up asked me "do you actually think that or are you just being nice" in a meeting and i didn't know what to say lol
but also when she trusts you she REALLY trusts you, like she'll go to bat for you with upper management in a way I haven't seen other bosses do
anyone else work under a scorpio when you're a libra? how do you get on her good side without losing the diplomacy thing that's just... how i am
omg the "do you actually think that or are you just being nice" line sent me. my old manager was a scorpio and she did the same thing, it felt harsh at first but she just wanted the real answer so she could actually use it
libra here too and honestly what worked for me was picking ONE moment a week to just say the blunt version of my opinion instead of the diplomatic version. she noticed pretty fast and it changed how she treated me
@Deshawn_K okay I might actually try that. I think I've been so scared of seeming difficult that she just reads it as me not having opinions at all lol. gonna pick my next 1:1 to test it out
