my boss is a virgo and I'm a leo and it is A Dynamic
she'll notice literally one typo in an otherwise great report and go straight to that, meanwhile I just want a "hey this looks great!" before we get into the notes lol
but also she's taught me so much about actually following through on details instead of just riding big ideas and enthusiasm, which... fair, I needed that
anyone else work under/with the opposite sign and feel like it's constantly a lesson in humility
YES. my virgo manager does the exact same thing with the one typo lol. took me way too long to realize it's not that she doesn't see the good work, she just assumes the good part is a given and the details are what actually need attention
as a virgo who has managed a couple leos... we notice the details because we care, not because we don't see the big picture! but also we could definitely lead with the compliment more lol, noted
opaline_dev honestly this thread alone helped me reframe it more than months of just being annoyed did lol. gonna stop taking the nitpicks personally
