my boss is a virgo and I'm a gemini and honestly the first few months were rough. she wants everything documented and triple checked before it even leaves my desk, and I want to just talk it out and iterate as we go
lately it's actually started clicking though? like her structure catches stuff my scattered brain would've missed, and I think my "lets just try it" energy loosens her up a little too
curious if other gemini + virgo work pairs have found a rhythm or if this is just a permanent friction thing
my virgo coworker and I are the same way. once I started sending her a rough outline before our calls instead of just winging it live, everything got so much smoother
looking at this from an element angle - gemini's air energy wants to move fast and explore options, virgo's earth energy wants things grounded and workable before committing. when it works, air gives earth new ideas and earth gives air something solid to build on. the friction usually eases once each side trusts the other's process instead of trying to override it
not me reading this as a virgo who has a gemini coworker lol. the documentation thing is so real but honestly her quick thinking has saved us more than once when plans changed last minute
