ok so there's this guy at work and I'm pretty sure I have feelings for him. the problem is I genuinely cannot tell if he likes me back or just... tolerates my existence
he's a capricorn and I'm a leo and everyone keeps telling me "oh capricorns are cold, they don't do emotions" which is making me spiral a little
but also?? he remembers tiny things I mention in passing. like I said offhand that I liked a certain kind of coffee weeks ago and now it just... appears on my desk sometimes. no note, nothing said. just there.
is that a capricorn thing?? how do you actually know when they like you and how do you even communicate with someone who just doesn't show it normally

Following up since it's been a bit - curious how things have developed since you stopped waiting for him to be loud about it. In my experience once a Leo stops needing the verbal confirmation and just reads the consistency, the whole dynamic tends to click into place pretty quickly.

once I stopped waiting for a big verbal moment I started actually noticing how much he was already doing. he reorganized his whole afternoon to help me with a deadline and said literally nothing about it
we went out twice now. he still doesnt say much lol but I finally know how to read it. the leo in me had to learn that not everyone performs affection and thats not the same as not feeling it
not me reading this whole thread about my own cap partner of three years and going oh. OH.
the discernment not indifference line is going to live in my head. I spent our first year quietly convinced he was on the fence when he was just being careful
