applied for a role I really want and pulled a quick 3 card check-in before the interview tomorrow. outcome card was wheel of fortune reversed and now I can't stop overthinking it
like does this mean don't even bother going? or is it more about not everything going according to plan but still working out somehow
any interview pulls end up reversed for you guys and it still worked out fine?
Oh friend, take a breath - the Wheel reversed here isn't a stop sign. It's telling you the outcome won't be entirely in your control, and that's true of every interview, reversed card or not.
What it often points to is unexpected timing - maybe this isn't the role, or maybe it comes together in a way you didn't plan for. Walk in and do your best. The rest truly isn't yours to steer.
pulled the same card for a huge presentation last year and it went totally fine lol. I think reversed wheel just means stop trying to control every variable, not that its doomed
following this bc I have an interview next week too and just pulled a rough looking spread myself. trying not to spiral about it
update: interview went really well actually! definitely didn't go exactly how I planned/rehearsed but in a good way, they ended up offering me a different role than the one I applied for that fits me better. wheel of fortune fr
