ok so I did a full celtic cross spread yesterday and wheel of fortune showed up in the crossing card position (position 2)
I've never gotten it there before and idk what to make of it. usually I see it in readings and it feels pretty positive but in that crossing position it feels like it could mean something is blocking me??
the rest of the spread was pretty clear but this card in the middle is throwing me off. does position matter a lot for wheel of fortune specifically?
the crossing position totally changes the energy of any card imo. like it's not bad exactly but it means something cyclical is complicating things for you rn
The Wheel in the crossing position is such a fascinating placement! The cards whisper that something is in flux - the crossing card isn't always a block, it's more like the energy you're navigating through.
In a celtic cross, that position often shows what's influencing or complicating the central matter. With the Wheel of Fortune there, it could mean:
Trust your inner knowing. What was the central card in position 1? That context would really help interpret the Wheel as a crossing card.
oh that makes so much sense!! the central card was the 7 of pentacles so I was reading it as a waiting/patience situation... and now with wheel of fortune crossing it I'm thinking maybe the timing really IS the thing I need to let go of
7 of pentacles + wheel of fortune crossing... that's such a clear "trust the process" combo honestly. the wheel is reminding you cycles always turn
omg the 7 of pentacles + wheel of fortune crossing is such a relatable combo honestly
I had something similar where I was so focused on the timeline of when things would happen that I missed the actual message. like the wheel isn't saying "something bad is coming" it's more like "stop trying to control when this unfolds"
that combo really does scream trust the process lol
just found this thread and omg yes, position matters SO much for wheel of fortune specifically
i got it in the crossing position too a while back and felt the same way - like is this an obstacle or is the wheel itself the thing blocking me from moving forward?
what helped me was thinking of crossing = what's working against you, and wheel of fortune crossing means the timing is off, not the goal itself. like the universe is spinning and you're trying to move against the current instead of waiting for the right moment
hope your reading made sense in the end!
update for anyone who finds this later: things have definitely been shifting a lot since that reading
turns out the wheel in crossing WAS pointing at timing - I was trying to force something that needed to unfold on its own. the situation changed without me doing anything drastic lol
so yeah, crossing doesn't always = bad block. sometimes it's just "the wheel is turning, chill out and let it spin" thanks everyone for the help on this
