married to my cancer for 6 years now (im a virgo) and i see so many posts about how these two supposedly clash?? so wanted to share what's actually worked for us
i think the thing that helps is we both value taking care of each other in really practical ways - i'll handle the logistics of a stressful week and they'll just know when i need space to decompress without asking
we still bicker over how particular i can get about small stuff lol but honestly the trust and gentleness has just built over time. not always easy but way more solid than i expected going in
this is so nice to read, i'm dating a cancer as a virgo rn and still in the early nervous stage lol. good to know it can go the distance
my parents are this combo and 30 years later still going strong. definitely a good sign seeing this pairing work long term
Looking at this pairing, it makes sense - Virgo and Cancer are both about care and devotion, just expressed differently. Virgo shows love through acts of service and Cancer through emotional attunement. When both partners learn to read the other's language, it becomes a really stable combination. The friction usually comes from Virgo's critical eye meeting Cancer's sensitivity, but as you said, that softens with trust over time.
