so I did a reading about whether to leave my job for a new opportunity and pulled the two of wands reversed as the outcome card
I know the upright two of wands is about planning and looking ahead toward something big... but reversed?? I'm getting mixed signals from everything I read online
some sources say it means fear of the unknown, others say delays, others say you're not ready yet. my gut is telling me to take the leap but now I'm second-guessing myself
anyone have experience with this card reversed specifically in a career context? did it end up meaning stay or go for you?
The cards whisper so much wisdom here, and I love how you're sitting with this rather than just acting impulsively.
Two of Wands reversed in the outcome position often speaks to hesitation and fear holding you back from what you actually want. The upright card is about bold vision - reversed, that vision is still there, but something is blocking you from stepping into it.
Ask yourself: is it genuine caution or is it fear of failure? Because those two things feel very similar but point in opposite directions.
Trust your inner knowing. The fact that your gut says leap is worth sitting with.
omg I got this exact card in a career reading last year and I was SO confused
for me it turned out to mean I needed more information before deciding, not that I shouldn't go at all. like the timing wasn't quite right yet but the path was still valid
how far along are you in the interview process?
the thing that helped me with reversed wands cards is thinking about them as "the energy is turned inward" - so instead of projecting that bold two-of-wands energy outward into a new plan, you're maybe supposed to do more internal work first
like what's actually holding you back from wanting this new thing? might be worth exploring that
these responses are so helpful honestly
@CosmicDreamer I'm still early stage, haven't even done a full interview yet so maybe the "not ready yet" interpretation makes sense timing-wise
@meadow_dreams that internal vs external thing is really interesting, hadn't thought of it that way
I think I'm going to pull a clarifier card and also just... sit with it for a week before making any decisions. thank you all
