so i pulled a card before making a decision on a job offer (more money but way more hours) and got the two of pentacles reversed
from what i've read that's usually about being overextended, dropping balls, juggling too much? which honestly tracks bc i was already stressed just thinking about the schedule
but reversed always throws me off. is it warning me AWAY from taking it, or just telling me i need better boundaries if i do take it? feels different from the upright "keep juggling, you got this" energy
Reversed here often isn't a flat "no" - it's your own inner knowing telling you the current balance is already off, before you've even added more to the plate.
Ask yourself honestly: do you have the structure in place to take this on, or would you be saying yes from scarcity/fear of missing out? The card is asking you to look at your capacity, not predicting doom either way.
omg i got this exact card before agreeing to plan my sister's wedding on top of my full time job lol. should have listened
update: ended up going back to them and negotiating a 4-day week instead of turning it down outright. they actually said yes?? feels like the card was more about asking for better terms than avoiding the job entirely
