pulled the two of pentacles reversed for a "how do I handle everything on my plate rn" question and yeah. checks out completely
I know upright it's about juggling stuff and staying flexible, keeping the balls in the air even when things get chaotic. reversed feels like the juggling act just... failed? like things are actually falling instead of just being in constant motion
is this basically confirming I'm overcommitted and need to drop something, or is there more nuance to it than that? currently juggling a full time job, a night class, and helping plan my sister's wedding and something has GOT to give lol
The cards whisper so clearly here, and I think you already know the answer!
Upright, the Two of Pentacles is about graceful balance - juggling with rhythm, even joy. Reversed, that rhythm breaks down. It's not a moral failure, it's information: the system you've built can't hold everything you're asking of it right now.
The card isn't telling you which ball to drop. It's telling you that trying to keep all of them in the air is itself the problem. Something needs to be set down gently, not dropped in a panic.
Trust your inner knowing on which one it is - I suspect you already feel it when you read your own list out loud.
oof this is so real. I got this card reversed during a semester where I was also planning a move and my balance was just... gone lol
the night class is probably the thing to set down honestly, if it's possible to defer it. weddings have a deadline, jobs pay the bills, classes can usually wait a semester
update: talked to my advisor and I can push the class to next semester without losing my spot. feels so much lighter already, thank you all for helping me see it wasn't a permanent choice
