did a 3 card reading (past/present/future) about a relationship thing and got the 3 of swords reversed in the future spot
my gut says healing but also every time i've seen this card before it's meant heartbreak so now im just anxious waiting for the other shoe to drop lol
is reversed in the future position usually good news or does it still mean pain is coming, just... less of it? trying not to spiral but also kind of spiraling
Oh sweet one, take a breath - reversed in the future position is almost always gentler news, not a delayed blow.
The 3 of Swords reversed often means the pain has already peaked and what's coming is the release - forgiveness, healing, moving past old hurt rather than fresh heartbreak. Trust your gut here, it sounds like it already knows this.
What matters more is what you do with the release when it comes.
omg I got this exact same combo a few months ago and it really was the healing version. took a couple weeks to feel it but yeah
following this bc I always assume reversed = still bad just weaker version. good to know it can flip meaning completely depending on position
