ok i had almost this exact situation a while back and it drove me crazy too

what helped me was thinking about reversed cards as the energy being "blocked" or "inward" rather than fully expressed. so instead of heartbreak happening TO you, the three of swords reversed in the future is more like... the potential for pain is there but you're working through it internally, or healing is already underway before you even get there

also the two of cups + empress combo elsewhere in your spread is SO reassuring. those two together basically scream love and abundance. i really don't think you have anything to fear here

my reader once told me the cards show possibilities not certainties, and that framing really helped me stop spiraling lol
