ok so I did a reading about whether to take this new job offer and pulled the sun in the outcome position
everyone says the sun is like THE most positive card but I feel like thats almost too good to be true?? like am I missing something
is the sun in outcome always a yes or are there situations where it's more nuanced
i feel like the surrounding cards matter a lot too?
like i got the sun once in outcome but the cards leading up to it were all about hard work and patience. so like... yes positive outcome but not without effort lol
what else did you pull in the spread?
honestly the sun in outcome is about as good as it gets!! like yes its a super positive card
but i think the nuance is that it doesnt mean "everything will be perfect" - its more like youll feel fulfilled and aligned with yourself no matter what happens
so for a job... itd be less "youll get rich" and more "youll feel good about the choice"
omg i just got the sun as outcome for a similar question last month!!
i ended up taking the job and its been really good so far. not like everything is sunshine and rainbows 24/7 but overall? definitely the right call

got the sun in outcome for a decision about going back to school and I was like... ok this feels too easy?? like where's the catch
but I think StardustSoul nailed it - it's more about emotional alignment than like, guaranteed smooth sailing. I ended up going and there were definitely hard moments but I never doubted the choice itself
what were the cards in the middle of your spread? the journey cards usually tell you the real story
oh wait I never answered tarot_jen's question about the other cards lol
the spread had 5 of pentacles going into 6 of swords in the middle - so some difficulty transitioning out of a rough patch, then the sun at the end
update: I took the job! first week was a lot and kind of overwhelming ngl but it felt RIGHT in a way my old job never did. I think that's what the sun was pointing to
