I've been reading tarot for about 2 years and the high priestess always confused me. like I'd pull her and just go "ok... secrets? intuition? idk" and move on lol
but last month I was going through a really stressful time at work. everyone was pressuring me to make a decision about whether to take a promotion (more money but way more hours). my family wanted me to take it. my friends said go for it. but something felt OFF and I couldn't explain why
pulled the high priestess and for the first time I actually felt what she meant. she wasn't telling me yes or no - she was telling me I already knew the answer, I just wasn't listening to myself
turns out my gut was right. found out later the position had insane turnover and the manager was awful. trusting that inner voice saved me so much stress
now when I pull her I get it. she's not being vague - she's saying the answer isn't out there, it's already in you. you just have to get quiet enough to hear it
wait this actually helped me so much. I always thought the high priestess was like... mysterious and hard to read but you're right, she's not being cryptic she's saying LOOK INWARD

What a beautiful realization! You've touched on something so important - the High Priestess isn't withholding information, she's pointing us back to our own inner knowing.
That quiet voice that said something was "off" about the promotion? That's exactly what she represents. So many people ignore that voice because it doesn't come with a logical explanation attached.
Treasure that connection. The more you trust it, the stronger it becomes.
omg I needed to read this today. been pulling the HP in almost every reading lately and getting frustrated bc I wanted a clear answer but maybe thats the point
I need to actually sit with myself instead of asking the cards to tell me what to do
this is exactly how I learned to read her too!! someone once told me she's like the opposite of the magician - he's all about external action and she's about internal knowing. really helped it click for me
