so i've been doing more shadow work lately, journaling before bed and pulling a card to reflect on whatever comes up
and the hermit reversed has shown up like three separate nights now?? not even the same week, just randomly spaced out
i know upright hermit is like healthy solitude, introspection, all that. but reversed... is it telling me i'm isolating too much? or avoiding looking at something?
curious if anyone else gets a card that just keeps circling back during a specific practice like this
omg yes, for me it was the moon showing up over and over during a specific meditation practice. i think some cards just attach themselves to whatever work you're doing at the time lol
hermit reversed during shadow work has always read to me as 'you're isolating instead of actually reflecting'. like there's a difference between solitude that helps you grow and solitude that's just hiding
not saying that's you, just what it means when i pull it
sable_and_stars that actually really resonates. i think i've been using the journaling as an excuse to not actually talk to anyone about what's going on
gonna try reaching out to a friend this week instead of just writing about it. feels like a good nudge honestly
