the hermit in a career reading... help?
so I've been thinking about switching jobs and asked about my career path. pulled the hermit upright as my main card
im confused bc I thought career readings would be about action and opportunity?? not like... going inward?
does this mean I should wait? or that I need to figure out what I actually want first before making a move?
context: I have an offer but something feels off about it and idk if thats intuition or just fear

oh interesting! I got the hermit in a career reading last year and for me it meant I needed to really reflect on what I actually wanted, not just chase the next shiny opportunity
ended up turning down a promotion that looked great on paper but wasnt aligned with my goals. zero regrets
the hermit is literally about inner wisdom so maybe its telling you to trust that gut feeling about the offer?
like if something feels off there might be a reason even if you cant articulate it yet
in career readings I usually interpret the hermit as 'take time to evaluate' not necessarily 'dont take action ever'
maybe journal about what specifically feels off? sometimes writing it out helps
update: I took some time to really think about it like you all suggested. realized the offer was for way more money but would mean no work life balance at all. thats what felt wrong
decided to negotiate for different terms and if they say no then its not the right fit. thanks everyone <3
