so I've been thinking about relocating to be closer to my parents and siblings. they're all in one state and I'm like 8 hours away
did a reading about whether this move would be good for me and got the ten of pentacles reversed in the outcome position
I know upright this card is all about family legacy, generational wealth, long-term security etc. but reversed I'm not sure what it means in this context??
is it saying the move would disrupt my own financial stability? or that there are family dynamics I'm not seeing clearly? or maybe that I'm idealizing what being close to family would be like?
idk I thought moving closer would be straightforward but now I'm second guessing everything

I got ten of pentacles reversed when I was deciding whether to take over my family's business. I thought it meant don't do it but actually it was more like... do it but don't expect it to look like the traditional family business fantasy
ended up doing it and it was messy at first but worth it. the card was warning me to go in with realistic expectations, not telling me to avoid it entirely
ok these replies are giving me a lot to think about. the realistic expectations angle makes sense because I definitely have been romanticizing sunday dinners and holidays together lol
maybe I need to visit for a longer period before committing to a full move. like actually experience being around them for more than a weekend
honestly the extended visit idea is smart. 8 hours is far but its not like across the world far? you could test it out before making it permanent
