ok so everyone told me this pairing was doomed from the start lol
"taurus is too stubborn" "leo needs too much attention" blah blah blah. my partner and I have been together almost 3 years now and honestly? it's one of the most solid relationships I've ever been in.
here's what I think makes it click for us:
leo brings the energy. like my partner is the one suggesting weekend trips, dragging me out of my comfort zone, making everything feel exciting. left to my own devices I would genuinely just stay home and watch the same show for the 4th time. he pushes me to actually live my life lol
and I bring the stability. when he's spiraling about something at work or feeling unappreciated, I'm the one who sits with him, listens, reminds him how capable he actually is. leos need that consistent "I see you" energy and tauruses are SO good at giving that
the thing nobody talks about is how loyal both signs are. like once a leo commits to you, THEY COMMIT. same with taurus. neither of us is going anywhere and that foundation just makes everything else easier
the hard part: he wants praise and I sometimes forget to give it. not because I don't feel it, just because I assume he knows?? I've had to learn to actually say the thing out loud instead of just thinking it. and he's had to learn that my quiet presence IS my version of affection - I don't do grand gestures but I show up every single time

yes!! @MarcusAstro the sun ruling thing actually makes so much sense. I used to get a tiny bit annoyed when he needed reassurance about something I thought was obvious, but reframing it as just... how he's built? changed everything for me. now I actually enjoy being the person who can give him that
