ok I see a lot of posts about how taurus and leo are supposedly 'too stubborn' for each other and I just... don't relate to that at all??
my partner is a leo and I'm a taurus and we've been together almost 3 years. not gonna pretend it was smooth sailing from day one but we figured some stuff out and honestly things are really good now
here's what I think actually makes it work for us:
we both value loyalty like it's non-negotiable. leo gets a bad rap for being flirty but my partner is SO devoted once they're committed. and taurus matches that energy completely
we have completely different social batteries but we respect that. I recharge by staying home, they recharge by going out. we don't guilt each other about it - I get my cozy nights, they get their social time, we come back together and it's actually really sweet
the stubbornness thing is real BUT it means neither of us runs when things get hard. we've had some big arguments and we always work through it because neither of us gives up easily lol
leo really appreciates when taurus puts in effort - like I made a nice dinner for their birthday and the reaction was SO over the top in the best way. and in return they hype me up constantly which honestly taurus needs more than we admit

the dinner thing you mentioned... YES. my taurus person made me homemade pasta once and I literally cried?? like we appreciate effort SO much more than grand gestures. knowing someone went out of their way = everything to us
and the social battery point is so real. my partner used to feel guilty when they wanted a quiet night in but now we just... do our own thing and come back together and it's honestly become one of my favorite things about us
