been with my cancer partner for about two years now and i see so many posts about how taurus + cancer are supposedly a perfect match but never really WHY so wanted to share what's actually working for us
we're both pretty home-body/comfort oriented which helps a ton, neither of us is dragging the other out to something exhausting every weekend lol
biggest thing though is we both show love through actions instead of big declarations - cooking for each other, remembering small stuff, that kind of thing. it just clicks
not saying its perfect, we've had our moments especially around money since we're both kind of stubborn about our own way of doing things. but overall genuinely happy and curious if other taurus+cancer pairs found similar stuff works for them
the 'love through actions' thing is so real for this pairing. earth + water is a great combo bc you're both naturally nurturing types, just express it differently on the surface
Looking at this pairing from a chart perspective - Taurus and Cancer are in a sextile, one of the more naturally supportive aspects. Earth and Water flow well together: earth gives water a container to feel safe in, and water in turn keeps earth from getting too rigid or stuck in routine.
The money friction you mentioned is common though - Taurus tends to want security through saving/control, while Cancer's relationship with money is often tied to emotional safety rather than logic. Worth naming that difference explicitly rather than assuming you're both 'stubborn' for the same reason.
the stubborn-about-money thing hit close to home lol, my taurus partner and I have literally the same disagreement. good to know its a known pattern and not just us
@MarcusAstro that reframe about money being about emotional safety vs logic is actually really helpful, going to bring that up with him. thank you!
