see a lot of posts about taurus and cancer combos being either amazing or a total mess so wanted to share what's worked for us (together almost 3 years)
im the taurus, partners the cancer. biggest thing: neither of us needs constant excitement to feel like the relationship is good. we're both pretty homebody, cook together, same weekend energy
the part that took work: cancer partner needs a LOT of verbal reassurance and I (typical taurus) just... don't naturally offer that unprompted. had to actually learn to say the reassuring thing out loud instead of assuming my actions spoke for themselves
once i started doing that little thing changed a lot honestly. anyone else in a taurus/cancer pairing, curious what's worked or not worked for you
omg the verbal reassurance thing is so real. im a cancer with a taurus partner and it took him YEARS to say things out loud instead of just doing nice stuff and expecting me to get it lol. once he did it was a game changer
following this bc im taurus dating a cancer and we're only a few months in, good to know what to expect down the line
the biggest advice i can give is just don't assume your actions are obviously read as love, spell it out even when it feels unnecessary. saved us a lot of miscommunication
