so i did a past/present/future spread about whether to take this new job and strength reversed landed in the future spot
the job is kinda demanding and requires a lot of... well, inner strength lol. now im second guessing everything
does strength reversed in a future position mean ill burn out? or that i should work on my confidence first? im lowkey freaking out here
ok so i got strength reversed in a similar position once about moving to a new city and i was SO worried
turns out it was more about me needing to be gentler with myself during the transition, not that the move was gonna be bad
maybe its saying dont try to muscle through everything? like pace yourself
future positions dont have to be scary!! they can be advice too
like maybe its not predicting burnout but warning you to set boundaries early?
i read strength reversed as needing to find a different KIND of strength... like not the pushing through type but the knowing when to rest type
which honestly sounds like good advice for a demanding job lol
you all are making me feel so much better honestly
maybe its not a warning about the job itself but more about how i approach it? like dont be a workaholic from day one
thank you for the different perspectives this really helped
late to this thread but had to comment
i got strength reversed in a future position last year when i was deciding whether to take on more responsibilities at work. totally freaked me out too
ended up taking the role and honestly? the card was right - i DID need to work on my boundaries first. learned that the hard way lol. but i grew so much from it
the future position isnt a death sentence, its more like a heads up imo. did you end up taking the job?
found this thread while googling strength reversed and honestly it made me feel so much better. i always read it less as 'you wont be strong enough' and more like 'maybe you dont have to muscle through everything.' sometimes the bravest thing is knowing when to rest
