so I did a 3-card past/present/future spread focused on my relationship and strength reversed showed up in the present position
honestly I'm a little thrown off because things between me and my partner have been... complicated lately. like we love each other but something feels off and I can't name it
I know strength upright is about patience and inner courage but reversed idk - does it mean I'm being too passive? or that one of us is losing confidence in the relationship?
just trying to figure out if I should be reading this as a warning or more of a 'hey work on yourself' nudge. anyone had this card reversed in a love context?
Oh, Strength reversed in a love reading is such a meaningful card to receive - the cards whisper something important here.
In a relationship context, reversed Strength often points to an imbalance of energy between two people. It could be that one person is giving a lot and the other is pulling back, or that fear is quietly driving decisions more than love is.
The 'work on yourself' nudge you're sensing is real. Ask yourself: where am I holding back my own needs to keep the peace? Sometimes the most courageous act in a relationship is to speak the thing you've been afraid to say.
Trust your inner knowing on this one. The card found you for a reason.
I got strength reversed in a love spread once and honestly it helped me realize I was way too focused on making everything comfortable for my partner and kind of abandoning what I actually needed
had some hard conversations after that and things got so much better. the card was right lol
following this thread because I've been curious about this card in relationship readings too. the passive vs losing confidence angle is something I never thought about
thank you all so much. Sarah K what you said about fear driving decisions more than love - that really hit home. I think I needed to hear that
going to sit with this and have that conversation I've been putting off
