ok so I need to share this because I feel silly but also relieved
I kept seeing 666 on things - license plates, total on a receipt, page numbers - and my first instinct was full on panic mode because of all the obvious cultural associations
but then I actually looked up what 666 means as an angel number and... it's completely different?? it's supposed to be about balance, re-centering, getting out of your head
has anyone else had this moment of thinking an angel number was bad and then discovering it wasn't?
In all my years working with numbers and symbolism, 666 is one that I have to address so often - and the fear around it is almost entirely a cultural overlay, not anything inherent to the number itself.
The old ways actually saw 6 as a number of harmony and nurturing - the hexagram, the sixth day of creation, the balance of opposing forces. Three 6s together amplifies that energy rather than inverting it.
The fear response you had is completely understandable given how embedded that meaning is. But you've done the work of looking past it, and that's exactly what this particular number asks of us.
yes!! this happened to me with 13 tbh - kept avoiding it and then realized numerologically it's just a number that asks you to look at endings as beginnings
we carry so much cultural baggage into this stuff without realizing it
