ok so this is a little embarrassing to admit but bear with me
like two weeks ago i started noticing 222 constantly. license plates, receipts, timestamps, the amount on my coffee order... even woke up at 2:22am twice in the same week
i want to believe it means something but i also have a very skeptical part of my brain going "you're just noticing it more because you're looking for it now" lol
is that what's happening?? or is there actually something to angel numbers? i've never really paid attention to this stuff before so i genuinely don't know what to think
omg the 2:22am wake up thing!! that happened to me too when i first started noticing 222 and it freaked me out a little ngl
honestly i think both things can be true at once? like yes you're more attuned to it now, AND that shift in attention might be meaningful in itself
The confirmation bias question is one I hear often, and I think it deserves a real answer rather than a dismissal.
In all my years working with numbers and symbolism, I've come to see it this way: the mind is always filtering what it notices. Something prompts it to start noticing 222 specifically - and that "something" is worth sitting with.
222 carries the energy of balance, trust, and alignment. It's often described as the universe nudging you toward faith in a process you're in the middle of. The old ways would call this a liminal sign - appearing when you're between one chapter and the next.
Ask yourself: is there something in your life right now where you're being asked to trust without certainty? That's usually where 222 speaks loudest.
the skeptic brain is so real lol. I went through the exact same thing
what helped me was just... treating it as a prompt to pause and check in with myself, whether it's "real" or not. like okay 222 again, what am I feeling right now? it became kind of a mindfulness thing
margaret t that actually really landed for me. there IS something i've been in the middle of - a decision I've been sitting with for weeks without moving on it
maybe that's the connection. going to journal on it tonight, thank you everyone
