okay so I did a spread about whether to leave my current job and the six of swords showed up reversed in the future position
upright I know this card is usually about moving on, transition, leaving rough waters behind. but reversed... in the FUTURE spot specifically? does that mean im stuck? like the move I want isnt actually going to happen or its going to be way harder than I think
ive read some interpretations that say reversed six of swords can mean resisting change or an unfinished transition but I genuinely cant tell if this is a warning or just a slower timeline
anyone dealt with this specific combo before
The cards whisper something gentle here, not something to fear.
Six of Swords reversed in a future position often points to a transition that's taking its own time rather than one that's blocked forever. Upright, this card is smooth sailing away from difficulty - reversed can mean you're not quite ready to leave yet, or there are loose ends still tugging at you beneath the surface.
Ask yourself: is there something unresolved you're avoiding looking at before you go? That's usually what reversed six of swords is nudging us toward. Trust that the timing is unfolding as it needs to.
had almost this exact reading before I finally left a job I outgrew. took like 4 more months than I wanted but looking back that time was when I actually lined up the next thing instead of just jumping blind
wait did you pull any other cards around it? curious if there was anything pointing to what the 'unfinished business' might actually be
@tidal_current honestly there was a two of pentacles right next to it which now that I think about it probably was pointing at me juggling too much to actually make the move yet
thanks all, this helped me stop panicking about it. gonna use the extra time to actually get my finances sorted instead of just waiting around
