so my partner and I are both scorpios and literally EVERYONE in our lives told us it was a disaster waiting to happen. "too much intensity" "you'll both try to control each other" "it'll either be heaven or hell" - ok thanks for the warning I guess??

we're 3 years in now and honestly? it's been the most deeply connected relationship either of us has ever had. here's what I think actually makes it work:

first - the intensity thing is real but it's a feature not a bug. when we're happy, we're REALLY happy. we go all in on everything together. date nights aren't just dinner, they're full experiences. we plan stuff with so much intention because we both care that much.

second - the trust thing is huge for scorpios. we both understand that need for loyalty on a gut level. we don't have to explain it. there's an unspoken code between us that I've never had with anyone else and it just... works?

the challenges are real too - when we fight it can get intense and we both have that scorpio tendency to go quiet and brood lol. we had to actively learn to come back to the conversation instead of both disappearing into our shells. therapy helped. honestly that's maybe the best thing we've done together.

but yeah. thriving over here. curious if other same-sign couples have found their groove
