my best friend is a sagittarius and i'm a scorpio and honestly our friendship works but it's SO not chill lol
she says whatever is on her mind with zero filter and half the time i take it way more personally than she meant it. meanwhile i guess i come off kind of intense/guarded to her too because she's told me i "interrogate" her when i ask questions lmao
but we've been close for like 6 years now so clearly something works?? just curious if other scorpio + sagittarius friend pairs deal with the same push and pull
omg the "interrogate" thing made me laugh bc my sag friend has said the exact same to me. we're just thorough!! not everything is an interrogation lol
Looking at this from a chart perspective, Scorpio and Sagittarius are neighboring signs, which usually means very different energy that has to actively learn to work together rather than blending naturally the way same-element pairs do.
Scorpio wants depth and privacy, Sagittarius wants honesty and freedom of expression. On paper those can clash - Scorpio can read Sagittarius' bluntness as careless, and Sagittarius can read Scorpio's intensity as controlling.
But six years in is a real data point. That usually means you've both stopped expecting the other to operate like you and started translating instead. That's the actual work of the friendship, and it sounds like you're doing it well.
this is basically my friendship too except i'm the sag lol. my scorpio friend used to make me feel like i was being cross examined and now i just know that's how she shows she cares
