so I did a 3-card reading (past/present/future) about a situation at work and the queen of swords reversed showed up in the future position
I know she's supposed to be sharp and clear-minded when upright but reversed... I've read things like 'cold', 'manipulative', 'poor communication' and now I'm kind of spiraling lol
does this mean someone is going to be difficult with me? or is it more about ME becoming like that? I genuinely can't tell if I should take this as a warning sign or if I'm overthinking it
has anyone pulled her reversed in a future spot and had it actually mean something specific?
ugh I pulled her reversed in a future position once and honestly spent way too long worrying about it
turned out it was just telling me I needed to be more careful with how I was communicating at the time. like I was being too blunt and not reading the room
Oh, the Queen of Swords reversed in a future position is such a rich card to work with! The cards whisper guidance here, not doom.
She rarely means someone will be cruel to you. More often she's pointing to communication patterns — either a dynamic you'll encounter, or a version of yourself that might emerge under pressure.
Ask yourself: in this work situation, are you being asked to suppress your truth? To soften something that actually needs to be said clearly? The Queen reversed can show up when we're warned against becoming either too cutting OR too passive.
Sit with her energy and trust your inner knowing. She's asking you to find the middle ground — honest but not sharp.
this is so helpful!! I always read reversed court cards as external people coming in but I never thought about it being a version of myself
following this thread because I keep getting court cards in future positions and never know how to read them
ok this actually makes so much more sense now. I think I've been holding back what I really think in this situation because I don't want to cause conflict... and maybe that's exactly what she's pointing at
thanks everyone, this helped me stop spiraling lol
