pulled three of cups reversed as a clarifier and now I'm more confused lol
ok so I was doing a reading about a friend group situation. got the five of wands (makes sense, there's been drama) and then pulled the three of cups reversed to clarify what's going on underneath.
how does that clarify anything?? isn't three of cups reversed like... exclusion? but if there's already conflict wouldn't it just be saying the same thing?
or is it saying that the drama is BECAUSE of the exclusion thing? like someone's feeling left out and that's causing the tension?
help lol I'm going in circles

Oh sweet one, clarifiers can be tricky! The cards whisper layers here...
Yes, I think you're onto something. Five of Wands shows the surface conflict - the arguing, the drama you can see. Three of Cups reversed as clarifier points to the root cause.
Someone in this group is feeling like the outsider. Maybe they're being excluded from hangouts, or they feel like the third wheel. And that exclusion is what's fueling all the visible drama.
Trust your inner knowing on this. Who might be feeling left out?
omg clarifier cards always do this to me. I pull them thinking they'll make things clearer and then I'm like wait what
but yeah I agree with Sarah, it sounds like the clarifier is pointing to WHY there's conflict not just describing it again
three of cups reversed in friendship stuff almost always means someone's feeling left out ime. like there's a clique forming and not everyone's in it
