so ive been reading for like 8 months and every time ten of swords upright shows up in someone elses reading its this whole big "rock bottom" thing lol
finally pulled it reversed for myself today (asking about a rough patch at work) and now im not sure if im supposed to feel relieved or worried??
like does reversed mean the worst is actually over, or does it mean im refusing to admit somethings ending and dragging it out longer than it needs to be
first time getting it reversed specifically so idk what to expect. is it always a good sign when it flips or does context change everything
reversed ten of swords is honestly one of my favorite cards to see tbh. its basically the sun coming up after the worst night lol
The cards whisper relief here, sweet one. Reversed, the Ten of Swords softens the blow of the upright meaning - instead of hitting rock bottom, you are already in the recovery phase, or the ending is happening more gently than you feared.
That said, it can occasionally point to resisting an ending that truly needs to happen. Sit with your work situation honestly: does this feel like healing, or like you are patching something that has run its course? Trust your inner knowing on which one rings true.
wait this is timely bc I got the same card last week about a friendship winding down. for me it definitely meant im already past the worst part, just needed permission to admit it
