ok so I did a reading about whether to reach out to someone I've been distancing myself from. the spread kinda made sense but there was one card I wasn't sure about so I pulled a clarifier
and got queen of cups reversed.
like... ok?? so now I have a card about emotional unavailability or maybe blocked intuition clarifying a card about... communication?? it just opened up more questions honestly
do clarifiers always do this or is it just me being bad at this lol. what does queen of cups reversed even mean as a clarifier - does it say something about MY emotional state going into the situation or is it more about the other person?
any help appreciated, this is making my brain hurt
omg clarifiers do this to me ALL the time. I swear they make things worse before they make them better lol
Oh I love this question because clarifiers can be SO tricky!
The Queen of Cups reversed as a clarifier is almost always pointing at YOUR inner landscape, not the other person. She's saying: before you reach out, check in with yourself. Are you coming from a place of genuine connection, or from anxiety, guilt, or emotional need?
The cards whisper here that the confusion you feel isn't about the reading - it's the message itself. Something in you already knows whether reaching out is aligned or not. Trust that inner knowing, even if your head is spinning right now.
What did the original card say about the communication angle?
wait this is so helpful, I never thought about clarifiers as pointing back at the querent's state. I always assumed they were about the situation
ok sarah k that actually makes a lot of sense!! the original card was kind of suggesting I'd been overthinking the reach-out. so maybe the queen reversed is saying I need to get emotionally grounded first before I do anything
I'm gonna sit with it for a few days and see how I feel. thank you!
