ok so I did a reading about whether to have a difficult conversation with my friend and got the 5 of wands
I was like ok that tracks, conflict and tension makes sense. so I pulled a clarifier to understand what kind of conflict we're talking about
and I got the nine of swords reversed??
like... am I overthinking this (which would be the reversed meaning) or is it saying the conflict will cause anxiety? or is it saying my anxiety about it is worse than it actually will be?
clarifiers are supposed to CLARIFY things lol why am I more confused now
omg clarifier cards that make it worse are the WORST
but honestly 9 of swords reversed in that context... I'd read it as your fear about the conversation is bigger than the actual problem. like youre losing sleep over something that wont be as bad as you think
I actually love 9 of swords reversed! it usually means releasing anxiety or realizing your worries were unfounded
so maybe the clarifier is saying: yes there's conflict (5 of wands) but youre making it worse in your head than it needs to be?
this is why I stopped pulling clarifiers tbh lol they always just add more questions
but yeah I agree with the others, reversed 9 of swords is usually about mental relief not more anxiety
ok this actually makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. the conversation has been building up in my head for weeks so yeah... probably overthinking it
thanks everyone this helped!
