asked what I should focus on with a big project at work and got the eight of pentacles reversed as the advice card
like... upright I get it, its the whole grind/master your craft/put in the reps energy. but reversed as ADVICE? is it telling me to stop grinding so hard? or that im cutting corners somewhere and dont realize it??
ive been putting in a ton of hours on this thing so it stung a little ngl. anyone read this differently
i always read it as advice to check WHY youre grinding, not to stop entirely. like are you actually improving or just staying busy so you dont have to think about something else
ooh following this. did you feel like the project actually needed all those hours or were you maybe avoiding something else by staying heads down in it
@Basil_Rowan honestly... kind of. i think i was using the project to avoid a harder conversation with my manager about scope. sat with that for a bit and had the conversation today, feels way better now lol
