ok so I've been reading with my own deck for about a month now and today I pulled Death reversed and my stomach just dropped??
i KNOW logically that reversed is supposed to soften it but the word is still just. right there. staring at me lol
is it always a bad sign when reversed or can it actually mean something more hopeful depending on the spread? genuinely asking bc I don't want to spiral over nothing
Oh sweet one, take a breath - reversed Death is almost never as scary as it looks!
Upright Death is transformation happening. Reversed usually means you're RESISTING a change that wants to happen - clinging to something familiar even though part of you knows it's time to let go. It's not an ending being forced on you, it's an invitation to stop holding on so tight.
Ask yourself: what am I avoiding releasing right now?
omg I had the exact same panic moment with this card lol. once I understood it as "resistance to change" instead of "bad thing happening" it stopped scaring me so much
ok this actually helped a lot. I've been putting off ending a friendship that's been kind of one-sided for a while and reading this made it click that the card wasn't warning me, it was just... naming what I already knew
