so I did a 3-card spread about a situation at work (past/present/future kinda layout) and the page of swords reversed landed in the outcome slot and I honestly have no idea how to take it
like I know page of swords upright is usually about curiosity, gathering info, asking questions. but reversed as the OUTCOME?? does that mean things fall apart? or like, mental fog? I'm getting kind of stressed about it
has anyone pulled this in the outcome position before and what did it actually mean for you??
Oh this is such a nuanced card in the outcome position! The cards whisper something important here...
Page of Swords reversed as an outcome often isn't a warning - it's an invitation to slow down your thinking before acting. Upright, this card rushes in with questions and information. Reversed, it's asking you to pause. Be thoughtful. Don't make hasty decisions or say things before you've fully processed them.
For a work situation specifically, it might mean the outcome depends on you choosing your words carefully, or not jumping to conclusions with the information you have. Trust your inner knowing here - what's your gut saying about timing?
I got this exact same card reversed as an outcome in a work spread a few months back! I was really worried at first but honestly it was just signaling that I needed to be more patient before making a move
tried to rush into a conversation with my manager way too soon and it didn't land well - but once I waited and gathered more info first it went way better
following this because I never know what to do with reversed cards in outcome positions either lol
ok Sarah K that interpretation actually makes so much sense. I've been kind of rushing to confront a coworker about something and maybe this is telling me to like... gather my thoughts first and pick the right moment
feels a lot less scary now honestly. thank you!!
