ok so I asked my deck for advice on whether I should confront a friend about something they said that really hurt me
and I pulled the page of swords reversed
I thought advice cards were supposed to be... helpful?? like this one is making me feel like I should stay quiet but also maybe I'm reading it wrong
does page of swords reversed mean don't say anything? or be careful how I say it? or something else entirely
idk I feel like every interpretation I read online is slightly different and now I'm more confused than when I started lol
Oh this is such a meaningful card to receive as advice, even if it doesn't feel that way right now!
The page of swords reversed whispers: slow down before you speak. It's not saying stay silent forever - it's saying the energy around this communication needs care right now.
Ask yourself: Am I fully clear on what I want to say and why? Do I have all the information? The reversed page often shows up when we're about to speak from a reactive place rather than a thoughtful one.
Trust your inner knowing - what does your gut say about timing?
I get this card so often lol and yeah it's confusing every time
my read is usually that it's warning about HOW you communicate rather than whether you should. like... pick your words carefully, don't go in guns blazing
the page of swords in advice position always makes me pause too. I think of it as "be strategic about this" - gather your thoughts, maybe even write down what you want to say first before you actually say it
ok this is really helpful, thank you!! I think I've been in that reactive headspace so this makes so much sense
I journaled about it last night and I feel a lot clearer now. I'm going to say something but I'm going to take my time and be thoughtful about it first
