ok so I did a general finances reading for myself and pulled the page of pentacles reversed in the present position
I've been trying to save up and get more disciplined about money but idk this card is throwing me off. like is it saying I'm being irresponsible? or that my plans aren't gonna work out?
I feel like I understand the page upright (new beginnings, learning, taking small steps toward goals) but reversed just feels... discouraging?
has anyone gotten this in a money reading? what did you take it as
Oh lovely question! The Page of Pentacles reversed in a money reading doesn't have to be discouraging at all - the cards whisper more nuance than doom and gloom.
Reversed here often points to a block in your relationship with money learning. Maybe you're avoiding looking at your finances, or you know what you SHOULD do but aren't quite doing it yet.
Trust your inner knowing - you asked this question for a reason. The card may be nudging you to get serious about that one step you've been putting off. What's one small money habit you know you need to start?
I pulled this same card last month when I was stressed about my spending! I took it as a sign I was being too scattered with my financial goals - like I had good intentions but no real plan
once I actually sat down and wrote out a proper budget things started feeling more manageable. the card felt accurate honestly lol
this thread is so validating lol
I pulled this card reversed when I was in the middle of trying to budget better and my first reaction was also like... great, I'm hopeless with money
but I ended up sitting with it and realized it wasn't saying I WOULD fail - it was more like pointing at the specific thing I was avoiding. for me it was not actually tracking where my money was going, I just had vibes about it
once I started actually writing things down it felt way less chaotic. the card felt less like a warning and more like a nudge after that
found this thread while googling and omg so glad I did
I pulled this same card like two months ago when I was stressing about whether to finally open a savings account (I know, I know lol). felt like it was calling me out for being avoidant about money stuff instead of actually taking steps
I ended up just... starting really small. like embarrassingly small amounts. but honestly it helped so much to just do something instead of waiting until I felt "ready"
I think the page reversed is less about "you're failing" and more like "you're still at the beginning and that's okay, just don't stay stuck there"
hope ur savings journey is going well OP!!
