ok so I asked the cards about whether I should keep studying for this certification I've been working toward for months. its a lot of time and money and honestly I'm burnt out
the advice card I pulled was the page of pentacles reversed and now I feel like I got whiplash lol
like... is it saying to stop? give up? or is it more like, slow down? I keep reading different interpretations and getting confused because some say it means lack of focus and others say it means don't rush
has anyone gotten this card in the advice position before? what did you do with it?
omg I literally got this card when I was considering dropping out of a program!! it freaked me out at first
for me it ended up meaning I needed to reassess WHY I was doing it, not necessarily stop. like the energy was scattered not the goal itself
The cards whisper nuance here, not doom!
The page of pentacles reversed as advice is rarely a hard stop — it's more often asking: where is your energy leaking? Pages are students, beginners, learners. Reversed, the message is often that you're approaching the learning in a way that's draining rather than building.
Ask yourself: Is it the certification itself that feels wrong, or is it HOW you're studying? Burned-out cramming vs. steady intentional practice — the page reversed notices that difference.
Trust your inner knowing on this. The card isn't telling you to quit, it's asking you to recalibrate.
this is such a good question and Sarah's answer is exactly what I needed to hear too actually lol. I've been avoiding a similar situation
ok this actually helps so much!! I think I've been grinding without any structure and just hoping it clicks
I took a few days off and made a proper study schedule instead of random panic sessions. feels way more sustainable already. thanks everyone
