so I pulled the nine of cups reversed for a "where am I headed" reading and went down a rabbit hole reading interpretations

some sites say it's about a wish that doesn't come true or isn't as satisfying as you thought. other sites say it's more about putting on a happy face when you're actually not fulfilled, like performative contentment

those feel like pretty different things to me?? like one is external (thing doesn't work out) and one is internal (you're lying to yourself about being ok)
