ok so I've been doing readings about this situationship I've been in for like 6 months and I keep getting the nine of wands reversed in the feelings/outcome area
I know upright nine of wands is about resilience and holding on but reversed feels like... burnout? like the universe is telling me to drop my guard or just stop trying?
honestly I'm exhausted and I don't know if I should read this as 'let go of your defenses' or 'you're done, walk away'
has anyone gotten this in a love context? what did it mean for you
Oh, this card in a love reading is so nuanced! The cards whisper something important here...
Nine of Wands reversed in love often speaks to exhaustion from over-guarding your heart. You've been through something that made you put up walls - and those walls are now weighing you down more than protecting you.
It's less 'give up' and more 'you don't have to fight so hard anymore.' The question to sit with: are you exhausted from the relationship itself, or exhausted from the armor you've been wearing around it?
Trust your inner knowing on this one. The card is asking you to get honest about what the real drain is.
I got this exact card in the same position last year!! for me it was telling me I'd been holding on way past the point where it felt good
but yeah Sarah K's take about walls resonates too. like are you exhausted FROM him or exhausted from trying to protect yourself from getting hurt by him? two very different things
following this thread bc I pulled nine of wands reversed yesterday about my own situation and I'm in the same boat lol
the burnout interpretation is what I always go with for this reversed. like you've been standing guard for SO long and you just don't have it in you anymore
not necessarily 'walk away' but maybe 'stop white-knuckling this and see what happens naturally'
